/ BOOKING POLICY

All custom orders require a TWO WEEK MINIMUM notice. Please note anything custom made requires me to plan, prep and execute a request specifically for you given the right amount of time. Any order placed less than TWO WEEKS will have a rush fee applied, depending on difficulty. Make sure at booking to provide any information about what you are looking for to make the process more efficient.

BRWN SGR requires a 50% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation of booking. This means your order is not BOOKED OR GUARANTEED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. Even though we may discuss your order in detail, until payment is received, your order is not booked with BRWN SGR. Should someone else contacts us for the same date and places a deposit down, and our books fills for your desired date, your order will not be completed. You run the risk of losing availability without placing a deposit as soon as you inquire/order.

The balance is due 24 hours prior to pickup/delivery. We currently only accept payment via PayPal (link sent upon confirmation of booking) or Cash.

Please note: all listed prices are due to vary depending on what you are requesting. All prices listed are basic designs, not including fondant and depends on difficulty of buttercream work. Contact us today if you have any questions or concerns of your order.

ALL ORDERS are PICK UP ONLY. Delivery is an option ($10 fee) if distance is greater than 5 miles of BRWN SGR location of Hamden, CT. PICK UP times and location will be provided the day prior of pick up. Please not pick up time is an hour time slot usually in the morning. If the time slot provided does not work for you, please let us know so we can arrange something. 

/ PAYMENT METHODS

We currently only accept payment via PayPal (link sent upon booking confirmation) or Cash.

/ REFUNDS

NO REFUNDS. Once an order is picked up by You or Your Designated Party, it is considered "Accepted". Which means that you and the designated party has seen the item and is satisfied with it.

It is your responsibility upon pick up to bring up any noticeable issues with your order. If there are any issues we can discuss how I can correct my mistake.

Please note that if you book the order, and fail to give us a flavor, vanilla cake will be used by default and no refund will be given.

In the event of a refund is deemed appropriate, it will be issued via PayPal or Zelle. Please allow up to 7-14 days for the funds to appear in your account. I can not control the speed of refunds between banks, so please do not contact me about when it should appear back in your account.

/ CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS

In the event that you need to cancel your order, it is your responsibility to communicate with us of such cancellations. You must communicate your cancellation with us at least 72 hours prior to date requested. Please note your 50% deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Should you reschedule your event, and as long as you communicate postponement with us at least 72 hours prior to date requested (AND we have the date available) we will honor making your order for the rescheduled date.

 

In the event that you fail to pick up your order, it is your responsibility, not OURS to make arrangements to pick up your order during the provided times. NO REFUNDS will be given to orders not picked up. Orders not picked up or not communicated to be picked up within 24 hours after date requested, will be up for resell. Resells will be communicated via our Instagram page after the 24 HOURS. 

/ CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY/TRANSPORT

All products are the client's responsibility (client's designated party) upon pick up, unless it is being delivered by us. Keep in mind all orders are fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly -- such as cracks, melted frosting, etc.

Here are some tips to keep in mind:

- Drive carefully, keep cake/order lying flat in car and keep in a cool climate.

- SUMMER Orders - we all know how the weather works in the summer time and if you are hot, your cake/treats are hot. We keep all orders refrigerated upon pick up and you should do the same. Bring cake/treats to room temperature in a cool shaded area about 30 minutes prior to serving.

- DO NOT leave cake/treats sitting out for any length of time in direct sunlight, as it WILL melt in less than 15 minutes of being out

- Please keep cake/order laying flat during transport. If not, it can slide and become damaged.

- DO NOT leave cake/treats inside a HOT car while running "quickly" into a store. It will melt.

If you are unsure of the proper transport or storage of order, please ask!

Like mentioned before, once your order is in your possession, we are not responsible for any damages.
